The MotoACTV Is a Fitness Freak's New Best Friend
Motorola demoed its new fitness monitor/smart watch/mp3 player today, and we think it looks like the perfect stocking stuffer for the gym rat in your life.
The device is square-shaped with a 1.6 inch screen akin to that on an iPod Nano. Unlike the Nano, however, the MotoACTV comes with its own detachable wrist/armband, wirelessly syncs with your Android phone to let you answer calls and read text messages, and has a host of cool fitness features like an "audio coach" that talks to you and gives updates on your progress via the headset.
Motorola also says the ACTV will "learn what songs motivate you" for custom playlists, and has a gorilla glass touchscreen that adjusts to indoor and outdoor lighting conditions.
The MotoACTV comes in two flavors, a $249 8 GB version and a 16 GB model for $299.

The LFA, which originally debuted in 2010 and (quickly sold out in 2011) is the Japanese automaker’s answer to the supercars of Audi (the R8) and Mercedes (SLS-AMG) and exotic brands such as Ferrari and Porsche
Comprised of carbon-fiber, titanium and aluminum, the lightweight two-seater clocks 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 202mph. But if you want to pony up to one of these, act fast and have some serious cash as there will only be 500 2012 production models made, each with a sticker of $375,000.

Supra has unveiled another three-sneaker collection that features some very interesting color combinations. The “Pop” pack consists of the Skytop III, Stacks and the Vaider all in primarily subtle, suede uppers and multiple magenta accents. Specifically, the Skytop III owns a mainly grey suede base with a magenta midsole/tongue border, while the Stacks possesses a navy blue upper with a magenta sole/branding. SHOTTAS: THE SERIES?!! :::LARGE UP:::
Back when Shottas, director Cess Silvera’s much-bootlegged Jamaican answer to Scarface, got picked up for theatrical release in 2006, a sequel was said to be following immediately on its heels. But when Shottas‘ status as a legendary black-market DVD didn’t translate to box-office success, talk of Shottas 2 seemed to dissipate. Turns out that when your entire audience has already copped your movie for $5 on Canal Street, even if it is a compromised version, they are not going to pay to see it again in a theater, even with all of the intended scenes restored.
Now, Silvera’s saga finally is re-emerging—as a TV series. A trailer offering the first preview for the show recently turned up on Youtube, with Alozade’s “Bad Out Deh” as its soundtrack and a plastic bag from the Gap covering the head of Paul Campbell’s “Mad Max” as its star (talk about unflattering product placement). From what we gather, the show will only air over the web but judging by the number of followers ofthe ShottasSeries Twitter feed, there’s some healthy interest. One request, though: more Teddy Bruckshot.
